Terms and conditions

For the purposes of this contract, Premier Pet Care London and/or their representatives will be referred to as PET SITTER and the Pet Owner will be referred to as OWNER. The parties here in agree to the following terms and conditions:

BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT

1) Cash and Bank Transfer payments are both accepted.

2)Cash Payment for all subsequent pet sits will be paid in full and left for the Pet Sitter prior to or for the first visit. Bank Transfer must be paid in full prior to first visit.

3) If the owner plans to lengthen their trip they must make contact with Pet Sitter a minimum of 12 hours in advance of last Pet Sit. Owner agrees to pay all additional fees incurred promptly upon their return.

4) If for any reason the Pet Sitter needs to cancel the contract, all fees paid will be reimbursed, and Pet Sitter is not in any way liable for the Pet Owner having to make other arrangements regarding pet care.

2. DURING PET SITTING PERIOD 

a) While the pet sitter will make all attempts to provide the animal with optimal care and welfare, the pet sitter will not be responsible or liable under any circumstance for any accident, injury, disease or death to the animal while the animal is in the care of the pet sitter.

b) Pet Sitter will not be liable for the injury, disappearance, death, or fines of any Pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors. Pet Sitter accepts no responsibility for security of the premises or loss if other individuals have access to the home during the term of this agreement. Owner is to notify Pet Sitter if anyone else has keys or access to Owner’s property other than Pet Sitter during the time the Pet Sitter is caring for Owner’s home and Pet(s).

c) Pet Sitter is not liable for pets that are left outside or may escape when Pet Sitter is not in attendance.

d) For House Sitting services, the Owner agrees to provide power, water, and heating for the duration of the stay.

e) It is expressly understood that Pet Sitter shall not be held responsible for any damage to client’s property, or that of others, caused by client’s Pets during the period.

f) Pet Sitter shall not be held liable for damage done by Pet to either the interior or exterior of home when Pet Sitter is not there.

g) The Pet Owner will supply to the Pet Sitter with appropriate food and any medication that the animal will require while it is in the care of the Pet Sitter

h) Pet Sitter is not responsible for damage incurred by Pet escaping because of a faulty leash/collar or a collar that is not properly fitting.

i) This agreement is valid for all future visits until a new agreement is signed. Pet Sitter reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, at its sole discretion; likewise, client may terminate this agreement at any time.

j) The Owner acknowledges that the Pet Sitter may be responsible for multiple animals at any one time.

k) During all assignments, Pet Sits will only be undertaken by Premier Pet Care owner or employees, unless prearranged with client.

l) You must before handing over the assignment to your Pet Sitter make sure they have been given full written details and instructions on care of your Pet and the house (if house sitting). Neither we nor the Pet Sitters will be responsible if full written instructions on the assignment are not given in advance.

3. EMERGENCIES

a) If a medical emergency arises for the Pet, the Pet Sitter will make every effort to contact the Owner but if time is of the essence Owner authorizes Pet Sitter to seek medical services at the closest Veterinary Clinic, unless other instructions are described. Owner agrees to indemnify the Pet Sitter for all services rendered by Veterinarian necessary during their absence.

b) It is the responsibility of the Pet Owner to obtain any necessary insurance for the animal while it is in the care of the Pet carer.

c) In the event of inclement weather or natural disasters, the Pet Sitter will use their best judgment in caring for the Pet.

d) If a problem arises such as a pipe rupture, flooding, earthquake, fire, break in, animal destroying fence etc., Pet Sitter will make every effort to contact Owner and follow their instructions. If the Owner cannot be reached or immediate action is necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the Pet(s), the Owner authorizes Pet Sitter to make any repairs deemed necessary by the Pet Sitter. The Owner agrees to indemnify the Pet Sitter for all expenses incurred for repair of property and will hold Pet Sitter blameless for work done by other.

4. PRIVACY, CONFIDENTIALITY AND RESTRAINT OF TRADE

a) Due to the nature of our business, we need to obtain some personal information to ensure we can provide the best care for your pets, and your belongings (i.e property) while you are absent. We abide by the Data Protection Act.

b) The client agrees not to book, employ or pay any contracted Premier Pet Care London employee, other than through Premier Pet Care London. 

c) All Intellectual Property produced by Premier Pet Care London is copyrighted whether tangible or intangible.

Late Payment Fees-

payment is due on the last visit date. Late payments will occur a fee of £10 per day unpaid.
